The Windemere Christmas Celebration
This celebration was formally known as the Windemere Christmas Market but this year for 2018 it has been transformed into a family friendly event throughout the streets of Windemere for all to enjoy. On Saturday 8th December and Sunday 9th December you can enjoy this spectacular event and all it has to offer.
There will be a wide range of local produce stalls, the Mountains Goat Santa’s Grotto, live band performances and so much more you won’t want to miss.
Festive West Coast Railway Tour

A Real Life Santa’s Grotto
Father Christmas is ready and waiting for everyone down at Ingleborough Cave. On every Saturday and Sunday throughout December, you are invited to join Santa’s elves as you explore through the magical caves to finally meet and greet Santa with a gift for all children who visit.
Prices start from only £10 for children (inc present) and is open from 11am to 4pm.
Crags Adventures – Conquer The Great Outdoors
Crags Adventures are a small family run outdoor adventure activity group who specialise in the local area. If you are looking for something fun to do as a family this Christmas and New Year that is different from the norm, get in touch with Crags to really excite your senses with rock climbing, abseiling and ghyll scrambling to name a few activities.
